Overview

The idea for the inke chair started with gestural sketching, inspired by the fluid movements of chinese calligraphy. Rather than referencing calligraphic aesthetics directly, the design translates a sense of continuous motion and balance into the structure of the chair. The result is a simple task chair with a restrained set of functions and a clear, expressive form.

Inke is designed for short periods of work and meetings, with no integrated ergonomic adjustments except for seat height.

It is available in 5 different colour options, 2 seat types (mesh & upholsered) and 2 backrest types (plastic or upholstered) to suit a wide range of home & office environments.
